3 men injured following shooting in North Pattaya.

In the early hours of Saturday Morning, Police Major Sompon from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Banglamung Hospital and Pattaya Memorial Hospital to investigate the aftermath of a shooting which had just taken place at the Third Road intersection with the North Pattaya Road.

Three young men were injured in the shooting. Two were taken to the Memorial while the third, Khun Leurchar aged 19 was taken to Banglamung Hospital. Khun Natee aged 20, one of the injured men who was taken to the Memorial, explained to the Investigating Officer that he was a money lender and he was on the way to collect some money when the three men encountered a gang of ten men parked on the side of the road on Five motorbikes.

Eye contact was made between both groups and one of the ten man gang produced a gun and shot at the three men. Injuries were thankfully minor and they are expected to make a full recovery. Police are now hunting for the gang and in particular, the shooter.
