Hi guys,

I've been working on my site, and just finished another podcast where I interviewed a teacher who has taught in both Korea and Japan. I also have some good interviews discussing the flight of many Koreans to study English in the Philippines. Also, I interviewed Rod Ellis on Task Based Teaching.

You might like the ESL-related interviews, so please come check it out!

I did listen to this and it was well worth it.

The interviewee seemed to know quite a bit about both cultures and teaching environments.

In general he leaned heavily in favor of teaching in Japan but there

we plenty of pros for Korea too. Lots of little tid bits about both societies

and how it affects a farang teacher.

I highly recommend even if you have no intention of teaching there as

you will see parallels with LOS.

My favorite bit of info; taxi in Japan will cost you an arm and a leg.

In Korea it is a few dollars, at most, just like here in Thailand.
