If you open two bank accounts in Thailand, do both need to be reported on the annual retirement visa renewal? I do not and will not work in Thailand (according to visa regulations), but a friend visited here and paid off an old debt in baht. The money is not much but more than I would like to keep in my apartment, so would like to put it into a separate bank acount and not have the money mistaken as earned in Thailand.

Any thoughts?

I only provide them with information (letter from bank, copy of book) from the account with 800k in it and they have never asked about any others.

Actually none have to be reported unless you are using them to meet requirements.
