Work Permit Question

Featured Replies

my company is planning to do a training course for 5 days in thailand, it will be for a small group of thai media people and maybe a one off in this country or it may be a on going contract , maybe 5 times a year.

do we require a work permit for just a 5 day course as a one off, i realise if it was more regular then things would be different.

thanks in advance for any suggestions

I believe this is a case where the “Necessary and urgent work acknowledgement” would be applicable, in the category (a) Administrative and educational works, (3) special lecture and educational works. See this post:

It will allow the foreigners to carry out the training without having to get a work permit.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
