a few posts have complained about thai tv.

my pet hate is not the outrageously bad soaps or slapstick comedies, but the amount of time the pm gets his big fat head on tv for his political rantcasting.

i'm not sure exactly what he's saying, but any politician given that amount of free air-time cannot be good for a functioning democracy. i'm assuming he's addresses the political crisis with his chats, but i'd like to know for sure exactly what going on here.

- what is he talking about?

- what do thai people think of this invasion into their tv-lounge-around-prime-time?

- is this a longstanding thai media tradition or something?
