I have a Cat Telecom Card for dialling overseas.

Instructions are:-

Dial 1544 - Enter Pin Code (off card) - Dial 009 -> Country Code -> Area Code -> Telephone number

Does not work as I am doing it.

I am dialling the a UK mobile phone from Thailand on my Thai mobile.

I dial 1544 -> 2 (for English) -> Pin code -> 009 -> OK so far

I have used +4477xxxxxxx as the next step

Also 4477xxxxxx

Does not work. I am obviously missing something here :o

Is 44 not the country code? As in I phone direct from my mobile to my son it is +4477xxxxxx

Help and guidance wanted please as they speak Thai at Cat Telecom.

And there is no number for directory help on the attached sheet or the card or on their telephone support number.

PS I am feeling dumb at the moment :D
