Context Menu – (right Click On File/folder)

Featured Replies

Over time my “Context Menu” (that’s when you right click on a file or folder and get options of what to do with it) has grown to over 30 options. :o

This is too much how can I edit the menu and reduce the number or options available?

Thanks

Thanks “webfact” had a look at your suggested site and it looks like it will do the job – but have to mess with the registry :D

Think I’ll wait a bit to see if some one else will come along with one of those idiot proof Tweak programs.

If not I’ll dive into the registry and live dangerously, Yes I will back up first. :o

Thanks.

Try ShellExView, much easier and safer than registry hacking. All the Nirsoft apps i have tried are very good actually...

Thanks “Veazer” I did a Google and found ShellEx View have been practicing with that but looks like on preliminary observation that “Katana’s” FileMenu tools would be easier to work with.

I’ll give both a try out and see. :D Thanks :D

Yesterday after I’d posted my request I was playing around with the new Advanced WindowsCare Beta3 and noticed under the System Utilities – Security tab there is a Context Menu Manager. :o

Talk about under you nose.

Yeah, his app seemed to have a few extra features that my suggestions lacked. I've only used mine to remove extensions, i hadn't considered looking for one that adds new goodies.
