Does anyone have any experiences from hotel wedding receptions in the Sisaket/Ubon Ratchanthani area? I'm looking for any recommendations on venues for a possible wedding reception in April 2009.

We had ours in Mukdahan this April, 2008, at the Ploy Palace Hotel in Mukdahan.

Found it by doing a bit of leg work in the town - and it wasn't hard to find as it towered above the rest of the place!

My advice is have a wee look round the city you want to hold the function. Our 'big day' was a blast, but it was a bit

akward for some of the guests to get to the evening deal as Mukdahan has neither an airport or a railway station.

Find a nice hotel that is near your ladies home and easy for your overseas guests to get to.
