My young lady has had some problems with things disappearing from her farm in the middle of the night, not much point growing it if every other bugger is eating it for free!

So she needs to have somebody sleep out there are night to deter the hungry thieves.

When I was living on Koh Phangan, there was a guy who built small bungalows from bamboo and thatch, complete with a little balcony, doors and windows, I think one of these would be perfect for the "security guard" to stay in at night.

Has anybody seen anything like this being made in the Surin area? Or anywhere within a couple of hour pick-up drive?

Also, anybody know how much such a little bamboo bungalow would cost? I can't imagine the materials would be over 10,000?

How would having somebody sleep there be a deterrent..... surely having somebody awake would be more effective.

Quite...... so, how much for a bamboo dog shelter then, should be able to knock one of those up around 1k, including labour.
