My wife and I just purchased a house in Bangkok....well, technically my wife just purchased the house. I have a non-immigrant O visa and I was wondering if I can be listed as a resident of the house on the tabien baan or not.

I was told NO when I asked at the local amphur, so went ahead and got a Yellow tambien ban.  Some discussion of this here:

Foreigners with Permanent Residency can be included in a blue tabien baan. Temporary residents (i.e. those here on a Non-Immigrant visas) can be included in a yellow tabien baan. I'm not sure about those here on a Tourist visa, visa on arrival or visa-free entry.
