Google's free image management software has just been updated and now includes a separate viewer...you just MUST check out the viewer, it's the nicest one I've ever tried, especially in Vista.

It doesn't allow for much editing (no cropping & such), but what it does, it does well:

I have been waiting 2 years for this. Finally!...I just hope it incorporates many of the new features recommended in google groups.
