My auto installer has tried to install this a number of times but it just comes back unable to install but does not tell me why. Any ideas ?

That is Windows SP3 I guess? It just hangs? Seems to be a common problem and you might start with disabling firewalls and anti-virus software as well as downloading the update manually.

Never had a problem with SP2 although that was ages ago I agree.

Why would manually work ? Surely it would try to download from the same location - no ?

Will have a look later - thanks.
