paveet
Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has done this and it works? I've successfully set it up on a Linksys PAP2 and on x-lite (SIP softphone), but I can't get it to register properly on a Nokia E71. I've briefly read about Nokia sip-client problems before about being behind a NAT router. Thanks

phazey
You can do way way better than Nokia's SIP client. I'd recommend you check out fring
paveet
Thanks for the suggestion; that's actually the solution I'm using at the moment, what I really like about the nokia SIP client is how well it integrates into the phone itself. It's a bit p*sspoor in my opinion. You have to reconfigure the sim profiles every time you change to a new hotspot, and for some reason, it handles incoming SIP calls real badly - in my instance it simply does not work inbound, which is why i use Fring. Skype and SIP simultaneously (plus GTalk voice) is a large bonus. ./2p
