Udon Airport Open?

Featured Replies

Anyone heard of Udon airpot being closed due to the unrest?

Anyone heard of Udon airpot being closed due to the unrest?

It looks like flights are on time and there's no news that I can find about it being closed. I've been searching and all I've read is airports in the south closing, but I'm not actually in Udon so I don't know.

It has not been closed at any time.

The PAD dont have that much support in Isaan.

They held a meeting in Udon a few weeks back which ended in their supporters being attacked and over 20 hospitalised !

So I would think its unlikely that the unrest will lead to any problems at Udon airport.

Its been announced that Prime Minister Samak is coming to Udon Thani tomorrow.

Theres bound to be tight security so anyone planning on flying to Udon tomorrow, maybe check for flight delays etc.
