Rubber Prices

Featured Replies

Dear any kind person,

To help me do my sums, can anybody let me know how much farmers are currently getting per kilo of air-dried rubber (latex)?

Could anybody suggest an average/likely ADS annual production figure per tree on a well run property? Any related figures would be helpful. I'll do the math.

Many thanks, Lee

firstly, work the numbers by trees as some places have 77 trees to the rai, some have 60 etc.............in one spot we achieve approx 1400 baht per cutting day from 550 trees, in another field it is different! The sheets are selling around 90 baht per kilo. If you look on the other rubber forums you will always see the same comments...........there are too many variables, how may days the trees are worked etc. A farmer told me that the general expectation was 1 million baht per year gross income per 1000 trees, PROVIDING the trees are fully grown ( 10 years+ ) and you are cutting the trees yourself ( no labour costs). I thought this was high
