i have really pleasent expiriences from the Mukdahan town,North-East...Hotel was Ploy Pallace....general manager is China man and really special one...Hotel is splendid...Kind people,really good food...many good things are there marked that place so well that i will go soon as possible there again...i have also many good tips to save ur money about living there longer time...I was there 3 months same place,wasnt regret ever...My Thai is from there and the woman are really so different(better way)than in BKK...my mail is [email protected] for any further information to anyone who would like to have a cheap way to stay long time...Milos

I have yet to see any site in english give any good info on music (not string) venues in Issan. Most sites just ignore one of thailands great cultural treasures, pity. -peter

Visit Roi et and you can enjoy the beautiful lake and park in the middle of Roi et City. Well cared and maintained.
