I found some old articles from 2005 saying 3G is being developed in Laos. Talked to my Lao friend today and he mentioned it was operating but "difficult". Anybody have any info on this? His English isn't good and my Lao isn't sufficient to ask him much. According to him M phone is offering it. I know it isn't Thailand but it maybe it will leak across the border just to make this Thailand related. I would be in heaven if I can use my 3G iPhone in Laos as I reside there part time. I read your linked article and it's talking about CDMA EV-DO technology... to my knowledge there is no CDMA version of the iPhone developed yet.
