Any help would be appreciated.

I need to extend my 30 day visa exempt stamp by 7 days next week but I just realised I've left my date of exiting Thailand a little tight.

Date on current stamp: 19 Aug - 17 Sep

Flight: 23 Sep

I know when extending tourist visas they add the 30 days to the date you've visited the office but is it the same with 7 day extensions?

Is my only option going to immigration on the 17th or can I go any earlier?

I presume the 7 days includes the day of your visit to the office.

They add the 7days from the date your visastamp expires.

You can go now already.

Your stamp finish on 17th, your extension will end on 24th.

Yep. Don't forget to take the plane ticket with you. Cost are 1,900 baht.

I was hoping that would be the case. I'll head over on Monday and make sure and brin my plane ticket with me.
