At my university, we have a concert hall that hosts many concerts each year, and mobile phone interruptions are very disturbing. In Hong Kong, at the Cultural Center, they employ mobile phone jammers in the concert hall. Does anyone know if these type of devices are legal or illegal in Thailand. If legal, does anyone know where they can be purchased?

I remember during the Thaksin era, authorities used these jammers to prevent bombs going up in the deep south.

Not sure whether the order still stands...
