Ok, posted here before about teak trees. I thoght I had BLUAK attacking them..I was wrong!

Today, I found more of the bigger trees dead or dying, and I found that there was a large "caterpillar" for want of a better description eating its way inside.

I will post a few pictures, and would be really grateful if anyone can tell me what it is and how to get rid of it?

The chemical I sprayed on them works, but only on contact...how do I get the bastards that are already inside the wood?

It would be greatly appreciated, as I planted these as a bit of a backup for my son's future, and I have already lost the first few hundred to floods, this lot were doing well 'til we got these buggers!

Thanks in advance!post-52995-1221915466_thumb.jpg

Hope these photos come out.

You can see they are about 2- 3 inches long, they appear to get into the tree from about 1 metre or so tall, then eat everything inside until the tree dies. Any ideas?
