Nothing to worry about. Just enjoy the shopping malls, bars, family entertainment, parks, beaches, and flowers.

Just pretend that nothing bad is happening and then, everything will be fine. Don't worry about boys with toys.

Fortunately most of the time they are only shooting each other, not foreigners.

I think there were two cases over the weekend I saw on the local TV news, a female drug chain (rather than gang) where a loaded revolver was found along with WYs.

Happened to a German tourist, caught one in his shoulder a few months ago while riding his motorbike; if I recall correctly.

With the 'excuse' being offered repeatedly; "I need it for my own protection", really makes me think if I want to remain in Pattaya much longer. I have dogs to protect the house, now I'm thinking of getting them some side arms training.

Fortunate for the foreigners, at least.
