icequeen
I got a residence certificate in July in order to get my motorbike licence but for various reasons have never managed to get round to getting to the driving licence office. I have a non imm o visa extended for retirement and I have been told that the certificate should be valid until my next 90 day report, does anyone know if this is true or do I need to get a new one. Thanks in advance for your help.

astral
The Thai's have a strange idea that documents become "stale". I thought it would last for 3 months?? But I could be wrong.

It is connected to anicca, or impermanence, an important concept in a Buddhist society.
ozzydom
One month, I had to show one to order a new car but when the car took 6 weeks to deliver I had to get a new one to finalize the registration etc because they said the first one had expired. ubonjoe
I guess that all the above problems gives all the more reason to get a yellow house book also called Yellow-Tabien-Bahn. All kinds of info on this topic. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Yellow-Tabie...hn-t156485.html
