Work permits and non-imm. B visa's go hand in hand. Can't get one without the other. You provide documentation for the work permit too?

Also, why not just get an 1-year extension to your visa-B every year instead of a new visa? Isn't that easier (no traveling outside of Thailand) and cheaper? (1,900 baht).

Probably doesn't qualify for an "extension of stay" since the company is dormant, and some places still issue "B" visas without a work permit or having applied for one. All though I expect the one year multi-entries may be getting more difficult to obtain.

With a dormant company I am not sure you will qualify for a work permit

and that means no Non Imm B visa. :o

The OP is talking about a 12 months Non-B MULTIPLE entry visa.

You don't need any visa applicant as a director...or don't need any work permit, or any tax proof.

That's not an extension... which would require a work permit under 7.1 of the police order in 2006, and miminum salary, and documents related to tax from the company.

But in the case of a new visa, from abroad, I don't think the company is verified, it depends where you apply and how you do it. Some consulates or embassy will not accept any company...

What the OP is NOT mentionning, is that this can NOT be done everywhere too.

Very difficult in Canada, France, Asia...if not impossible.

Easy in USA, Australia and UK.

There could be some restrictions depending where the applicant is from too.

Many Law Firm offers this service called an "invitation letter". The person getting this visa will have to leave the country every 3 months, but can come back in, for another 3 month, until the year is expired.

Some people do it by themselves...
