Screensaver

My screensaver is set for 10 minutes which, after screensaver, used to automatically revert to desktop, that was before I took my laptop in for extra memory. I collected my laptop the other day from the shop and now find that after 10 minutes it will go on to screensaver, and then after 5 minutes of screensaver I get a black screen and it will not automatically revert to desktop. I then have to bring it back manually and find that I have a very faint desktop for about 10/15 seconds.

Not sure whether this is a problem or not, does anybody know?

Go to Control Panel > Power Options and check under Turn Off Monitor what the time value is. This will cause the screen to go black after that timeout period expires.
