I bought mine at PC World in the UK for £279.00. It didn't come with a slip-case though so I'll have to look around for one.

It also didn't come with any anti virus software, so I've downloaded Avast, which seems to be getting better all the time,

I'll see how I get on with that, but if not I'll buy Kaspersky and add it via an external disc drive.

Thanks for the links ThaiLife, I'll add this page to favorites for reference.

Damole, a 6 cell battery would definately be a bonus and I'll be looking out for one as soon as they become available,

hopefully the price from Advent won't be too high, but if it is I'll wait for a patent part,

I'm sure it won't take long for the after-market manufacturers to catch up with the versatility of this machine.

As for a 160gb hd, wow yes please!! Hopefully this is another item that can easily be replaced,

I have 80gb but but in reality that's less than 70gb useable.

However it is ideal for travelling, the WiFi works great so the initial outlay will save me lots of time and effort using net-cafe's,

and of course I will be able to do a lot of the text and photo editing off-line before uploading to the net, as well as using for photo storage of course.

The inbuilt web cam and mic means cheap easy communications, and there's enough room for some of my favorite music.

I'm quite happy with Windows XP, no frills and no fuss, I've downloaded Intenet Explorer 7 for it already to spruce it up.

All in all it would seem a great purchase.
