Recurring Business Trips To Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm a french resident, born in France, holding your average european passport.

I may be required in the following months to make several business trips to Thailand, to visit a contractor there.

That might go as far as 5-6 trips a year (minimum 2 trips a year). Each trip should be 6-14 days long.

I know Thailand has a "30 days without visa" policy for the French.

That might be a really stupid question, but as far as the 30 days without visa limit is concerned, is that for each individual trip, or a credit of days for the year that adds up all trips done within the year (or longer) ?

Thanks for coping with my total ignorance of everything visa-related.

Also, if anyone knows of good deals on air fare for that kind of recurring business trips, I'd be very interested in hearing about it.

Pete

The rule is a total of 90 days in a 6 month period.

You can come and go as many times as you want up to that limit.

You are allowed a total of 90 days over a 6 month period. The 6 months start on the date of your first entry.

IE: You can enter 10 times for 9 days giving a total of 90 days.

I would say you wdo not have a problem.

Thanks a lot you two.

Indeed, I will never be there more than 90 days in 6 month, sounds like I won't have any problems.

That's really good news.
