Triple T Internet, Premier Pack And Biz Pack ?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I would like to know the difference between the premier pack and the biz pack, the price are very very different but the speed's are the same.

Premier pack : http://www.triplet.co.th/en/Promotion/promotion01.html

Biz pack : http://www.triplet.co.th/en/Promotion/promotion00.html

We talked to them on the phone and they just answer : The biz pack is for companies...

I really don't understand what they mean by "companies".

Thanks all.

Internet is a shared media to keep prices acceptable for normal users. Which means that your actual speed is in no way guaranteed. The only speed guaranteed is between your house and the Internet provider.

This sharing is done very aggressively on the cheap Indy package, which sees the speeds go down often to 20% of rated speed during peak hours.

The premier package is less heavily shared, giving you a much more stable/fast connection, but still not guaranteed during peak hours.

The biz pack offers a very low sharing ratio on international connections, meaning that you'll get almost guaranteed full speed all the time. You will also get much quicker response in case of problems.

What they mean with "for companies" is that mainly only companies will cough up the cash for such connections, since their business can be heavily affected by loss of internet access!

If you need the reliability, you are free to subscribe to that service, even as a private person...
