My yearly O visa has expired and I'm on the last 45 days of my last run. I don't plan to leave untill Christmas. Can I go to immigration and pay for a 30 day extension or must I do a border run and re enter as a tourist and get 30 days?? I'm in Chiang Mai and do my runs to Mai Sai. Appreciate any advice/info.

You cannot extend.

If you have a Thai Wife or Child you can get 60 days to visit them.
