Married to Thai national....she does not work. We have a home paid for.

Enter on a Non-O visa with intent to apply for extension of stay based on marriage.

Income is US pension documented on Embassy letter of 85,000 baht per month.

You will need a Thai to co-sign for you (other than your wife) and about 25% or more deposit, if its a 4X4 you will a 30% deposit.

That's right. I bought a car 4 months ago (Toyota Vios) My mother in law co signed for my wife and I. 15,000 baht down and your monthly payments will differ depending on the going interest rate and bank, so do your homework and shop around. :o

I was just out car shopping yesterday. The dealers are begging for customers right now. I was offered several possible options for financing. It shouldn't be too difficult for you. Definately shop around and get several ideas before you buy. Good luck!!!

Aloha
