I used to use Avira years ago when it was considered a very lightweight anti-virus. Avira is still a good AV package, but it's a little bloated in my opinion. My personal preference is for the 2.7 version of NOD32.

Been using it now for about a year now. Very happy with it and not had anything it hasnt been able to deal with. Its caught most things before they install. Updates everytime I log onto internet so all in all 10 out of 10 for me :o

Nod 32 is regarded as one of the best.

i use it and find it great. occasionally the ekrn.exe process thrashes my CPU, but that may just be my old crappy laptop.
