Christ is King. That post is the usual half-baked “gotcha” that treats every religion like a competing vacation brochure and then declares half the tourists will be disappointed. It collapses under its own weight the second you stop treating theology like a menu. Christians do not “do everything to be reborn.” We are not chasing another go-round on the hamster wheel. We confess the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. One death, one judgment, one eternal state - either with the risen Christ or separated from Him. That is not reincarnation, and it is not “nothingness.” The body that dies is raised incorruptible. Heaven is not a lounge or a harem; it is the presence of the living God who made us. The “72 virgins” caricature is Islamic folklore that some Muslims emphasize and others downplay; it is not Christian doctrine in any form. Hindus and Buddhists seeking escape from rebirth into an absolute state of cessation (moksha/nirvana) are aiming at the opposite of Christian hope. One path treats existence itself as the problem to be dissolved. The other treats the problem as sin and death, solved by the God who entered His own creation, died, and rose again so that death would not have the last word. Those are not two flavors of the same afterlife. They are mutually exclusive claims about reality. Only one can be true. That is not a bug; that is the nature of truth. The Christian claim is not that “our paradise is nicer.” It is that Jesus of Nazareth walked out of the tomb, appeared to hundreds, and that His resurrection is the firstfruits of what is coming for those who belong to Him. If that happened, then the escape-into-nothingness project is a tragic misreading of the human condition. If it did not happen, then Christianity collapses and we are of all men most to be pitied. The apostolic preaching never offered a polite middle ground. So the disappointment line cuts both ways. Either the resurrection is real, or it is not. Half-hearted “all paths are valid” rhetoric does not change the fact that corpses either stay dead or they do not. Christ claimed to be the way, the truth, and the life - not one option among many cosmologies. Believe Him or do not. But do not pretend the claims are interchangeable vacation packages.
