Public Holiday

Featured Replies

I have just found out that Tuesday 14th October is a holiday in Thailand and want to know if Immigration will be closed on that day or both Monday and Tuesday.

Kevin.

What do you mean?

Immigration at ports of entry to Thailand will obviously still be open. I suspect that MFA offices will be closed.

If you mean visa offices at foreign embassies, the British one does close on Thai public holidays, don't know about other countries.

I am due to report my 90 days on Tuesday but dont know if I should go on 13th 14th or 15th. I only found that it was holiday late yesterday.

Kevin.

I'd go Monday.

BTW, this is in the wrong forum.

Kevin.

You can report seven days before or after due date. So if you go Wednesday no problem.

Don't forget that the 90 day reporting can be done by mail in BKK and many other immigration offices.

Moved to the Thai Visa forum.

As said you have 7 days either side of the date in which to report.

Too late for a report by mail now.
