I have a shipment of household good arriving in Bangkok from the US at the end of the month. I had it shipped port-to-port since I was not sure where I would be at the time of arrival. I now have a house in Khon Kaen and would like to get the goods delivered here.

The shipment consists of a single 4' x 4' pallet about 4' high and weighs less than 275 kg. It is small boxes and a few loose items. All can fit in the back of a pickup truck.

I would like an agent for a couple of reasons; 1) to take care of the customs; 2) to deliver the goods to Khon Kaen.

If you know of somebody that could handle this, I would appreciate knowing.

I had a similar shipment sent to KK from USA & used the following agent in BKK. Not exactly cheap, but he speaks good English & everything was handeled professionally, with no problems. I am expecting another shipment later this month. PM me if you would like more inf. I live in KK.

I would PM member raro for a recommendation. He is in the industry, but no longer handles these type of jobs (I think). There is another member that is also a shipping agent, if you look in the small business section, the folk who do this type of thing post there. For transport from the port PM soundman, his family has a transport company.
