Myself or my gf have never had a problem getting beer at anytime of the day. Except after midnight. but even then if you know where to go. You can get it.

why didn't you buy alcohol free beer/wine ?simple solution(if you need anymore sensible advise don't be afraid to ask )

Doubt this would work. Had it previously in a pub, they put alcohol free beer on during alcohol-free days. No go, the local MIB were not amused and commented beer is beer, NOT ALLOWED.
