เทวธิดา seems fairly close assuming you mean some kind of goddess...

Not sure if Thai uses this metaphor since the whole concept is quite a leap of thought, an offshoot from Greek mythology where the fine arts were embodied as female goddesses.

My Oxford River Books English-Thai dictionary has an explanation of the concept where, indeed, the word theewathidaa is used:

เทวธิดาเก้าองค์ในตำนานเทพปกรณ์กรีกและโรมัน ซึ่งเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้เกิดศิลปะแขนงต่าง ๆ

Nine thewathidaa (celestial beings) in Graeco-Roman myths who provided the inspiration for various works of art.

Plain old 'inspiration' is แรงบันดาลใจ 'raeng bandaan jai', and if you want to specify inspiration for a poet, then แรงบันดาลใจของกวี 'raeng bandaan jai khawng kawii' should do it.
