Updates and events in the War in Ukraine 2025
Illegal dirt bikes and other off-road vehicles seized by police as part of a crackdown on anti-social behaviour should be sent to Ukraine, an MP has suggested. David Taylor, the Labour MP for Hemel Hempstead, said the vehicles could potentially be used on the front line to deliver supplies to troops and evacuate wounded soldiers. The Government has promised to make it easier to confiscate off-road vehicles that are being driven illegally and can make life more difficult for local residents who are terrorised by low-level criminality. Send UK’s seized illegal dirt bikes to Ukraine to help beat Russia, MP urges An excellent idea! -

Should I return to the UK - difficult decision!
The one near Big C, with letters K and V, owner died some months ago. This may mean that I would need to jump through hoops to renew my visa, (since I don't have 800k in the bank). Quite honestly, I can't be bothered to jump and would either move to Cambodia/PI or go back to the UK 🙂 -

Is it actually possible for a foreigner to buy land and run a tourism business in Thailand
Many examples on various Thai forums of guys losing their money on business in Thailand. For those who will actually admit they screwed up.🔝 Not even mentioning the headaches on a daily basis. Sure, there may be a few successes. Enjoy your Thai holiday or retirement but leave it at that. Be prepared to grab your passport and depart when necessary without financial obligations or loss. Better to “invest “ in your home country.
