5tash
In the Archives section of Sealang.net there are many interesting texts available for download. They all seem to be in DjVu file format. I've downloaded the DjVu plugin, but I am still unable to open any files. I've tried various different web browsers, IE, Firefox, Google but these browsers fail to recognise the file type, even though I have the DjVu plugin installed. Any suggestions? Thanks. Rikker
The problem may be on SEAlang's side. If there's a corrupt page in the DjVu you may be able to view it in the browser, but if you try to download it, it will get stuck on the broken page and never finish. But it sounds like you can neither view nor download them. Is that right?
5tash
But it sounds like you can neither view nor download them. Is that right? Yep, that's right. Each time I attempt to download a file, I am asked "which program would you like to use to open this file?". I am then given choice of "helper applications", none of the options are "LizardTech". I can browse my system for program files, but I am unable to select the "LizardTech" file. Which browser do you use when opening the files on Sealang.net? Thanks. Rikker
That does sound like a problem with the plugin, then. That's typically the behavior you'll see if the plugin isn't installed. I use Firefox 3 (currently 3.0.3) without problems.
