Hi, time to extend my Non Imm O again for the 4th time(in Bangkok). Doing it on the basis of a 400,000 baht deposit for three months and a thai wife.

Do I need a letter from the bank certifying the account deposit and date? Or can I just take my bank book to the extension application procedure and Suan Phu?

Also, I need the cash right away to buy a car. If i make the application, then remove the money from the bank account the next day, will that be a problem(does the money have to be in there between the time I file the application and the appointment for the decision?)

Bid on a car and won the bid, but won't be able to sell my current vehicle before all the details are taken care of.

Thanks.

You need the bank letter and the updated bank book. They must both show the same balance.

As for your other question. It sounds a bit risky.

Bank book and letter is required.

Just on day of application I would think.

2nd approval is mostly a review of application/documents from my understanding.

Very risky!

Imm has the right to verify the bank balance and/or the authenticity of the required letter the bank issued. They do it at random or on somebody flagged for some reason.

I wouldn't go below the 400K while extension of stay is under consideration.
