Cheap Call Code To U S And U K

Featured Replies

I tried calling a UK mobile from my True mobile the other day and used the 009 code first that used to be cheap (7 baht a minute I think) but it charged me about 30 baht for less than a minute.

Has this now changed? What are the codes?

Note to mods: Could one of you possibly spell 'cheap' correctly for me as I obviously can't...

008 is just over 7 baht a minute to UK

I have been using 009 for years. Used it last week. But I do not check my usage, so maybe 008 is cheaper.

If you call the operator (service center) for your sim provider, they will give you the rates for the different numbers. When I called a year ago they told me 009 was 5 baht min to the US, and 005 was 9 baht. Made it easy to remember.

Now that I think about it, I made a 30 minute call to the US recently and my balance ran out, which was surprising since I was sure I had several hundred baht in there. Perhaps they raised the price recently in a bid to make some easy cash hoping people won't catch on too quickly.
