One Year Visa

Featured Replies

Is it possible and easy to get a one yr visa for my gf (filipino) to stay in Bangkok?

At the end of Nov 2008 she will have had her 3 x 30 days here. I was trying to avoid her having to study Thai....but other educational options are of interest. Is going to get legal help going to assist?

Thank u.

A study will help her stay in Thailand and might be her best option. Other options are to apply for a double entry tourist visa, wich would give her 60 days and an extension of 30 days on each entry, so almost 6 months. At the end she can do border runs again, in combination with another (double) tourist visa.

any other ideas?

Let her find a job and apply for a Workpermit and Non-B visa.

johnfb, based on the information you have provided I see no way that your friend from the Philippines can get a one=year visa, ie a multiple-entry non-immigrant visa.
