Kindly reccomend me some brands which are lasting and good features and have to have the connectivity to connect to the internet from my apartment with either WIFI or ethernet.

second hand market is yours.

You might get lucky with an end of line model in one of the big retail store (Lotus/BigC), but generally pretty much all brands start around the 18,000 Baht level.

You'll have to budget another 5,000 to get a new one and the warranty/peace of mind that comes with it!

I would personally check out my local Tesco or Big C. They generally seem to have some pretty decent deals.

Acer Aspire One......9900 Baht

Lenovo G400. with negotiations ~16000 baht. Decent specs and great keyboard and non reflective screen.
