I am starting to think about planning a Christmas lunch for about 10 people in Bangkok. Does anyone have any ideas of which restaurants/hotels have good deals? I'm not looking for anything too expensive (some members of the party are cheap skates :o )

I'm a chef and members of the party are/were in the hotel business so the food and service need to be good. I haven't seen many places advertising yet maybe i'm looking in the wrong place or it's too early.

Can people post their recommendations, observations or comments.
