Zodiac
I am currently in the process of getting a new (British) passport. Will go to collect it soon from Bangkok. Having the one year retirement visa so called I am aware I need to go to immigration (in Pattaya) to get the "transfer stamp to new passport" done and I have downloaded the appropriate form for this purpose. However I notice on the Thai Immigration website there is another form called "Request of Change New Passport". So is it necessary to fill in that form too and take it with the new passport to immigration ? And if so is there any fee due for either or both applications? And any other forms or things I should know re this procedure? Would welcome any advice especially input from people who have recently gotten a new passport and gone throught the procedures at Pattaya Immigration. Many thanks. Mario2008
Only one form needed and the process doesn't take long and is free. (mistake on immigration website, it is the same form under 2 different names).
