New Hard Drive

Featured Replies

Had a damaged hard drive so I had a new one installed. The problem I am having now is all programs I reinstall now are in Thai language eg printer, fax and so on. Is there any settings I can change it back to english or do I have to learn Thai the hard way now :o Even so my computer is set to english most of it turns out to be in Thai language. Like the date and time and year. My wife is not a big help since she know's little about computers. So any sugestions ? :D

Sorry, posted reply in wrong thread

Seems to be that the HDD was the system hdd?! In that case they installed a new OS: XP or whatsoever.

In XP, you need to go to the Control Panel ->Regional and Language Options and here you can set the language for to display in menues pp.

But if that is an Thai XP what they had used, some files will still in Thai, special drivers pp.

So the best way is to reinstall XP while using a English edition.

Cheers.
