Sorry but I am not clear on what you are asking. Do you mean that you have AUD that you want to invest in Australia? If that is the case then the best bank rate I personally know of can be found here:

www.abetterdeal.com.au (Bankwest)

yes i've got Aussie dollars and want to know what rates i can expect and where.

I know the Aussia dollar is down heavily against the US dollar this year anyone got an opinion as to it's direction from here?

I would think as with any western currency. You need a crystal ball. :o

Oh ok, so by "rates" you mean exchange rates and not interest rates? correct?

Hmm. As these change (for each bank in a given coutry) during the course of any given day you are going to need to find some forex web site that updates at least daily OR find a web sites that list URL's for all Australian banks and then flick from one to the next to get a comparison (each will have an 'exchange rates' page). Sorry, can't think of any site off-hand so can only suggest you do a google and yahoo search to see what you can turn up.

Nope, i mean interest rates.

the word is that the OZ dollar is going south to 45 cents

its dropping now

in a few days the RBA will announce another interest rate cut and it will go down further

the banks will follow and at the moment the Bankwest is the best - however it will go down in line with the official rate.

I am looking to park my dollars in another currency

Nope, i mean interest rates.

Just a thought, but have you considered searching on this interwebby thing for Australian banks?

Yes on the internets there is site called infochoice

which will tell you via comparison what you seek

remember aussie sites usually end in dot com dot au

if you cant find it you must be fed by a spoon.

just a thought: why aussie banks and/or dot au websites ? :o
