Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Hello

Just have a question since I dont quiet get it: I am from Austria and have a tourist visa. This counts 60 Days and if I want to extend it it lasts 90 days. If these 90 days are up, can I do the 1 day visa run to Cambodia and bach to Thailand and then stay another 60 days in Thailand or is that not possible?

thx

That is possible only if it is a double entry tourist visa. It would read '2' under the heading "no. of entry" on the top line of your visa. If it shows 'S' then it is only a single entry tourist visa.

A double entry can get you almost 6 months in Thailand, a single entry only 90 days.

It's also important to keep an eye on the "enter before" date stated on your visa. If you have a double entry visa then you need to do your visa run by this date.

The Visa run will only get you 30 days, so you will have to do another one later.

Or get a Visa from a Thai Consulate.
