I am currently staying in udon thani so to visit laos will be good many thanks

The rule is that you can have 90 days of visa exempt entries in a 6 month period, for you staring spet. 2008. I would say you come a few days short and need to get a tourist visa from the Thai consulate in Laos.

By my reckoning you have another 46 days of Visa Exempt Stamps left . You can get another 30 day stamp , but that will take you to 9th Jan. Leaving you with 16 days left. Not enough.

Personally I would go to Vientiene and get a Tourist Visa just before 11th December.
