Which download program do you think is best? some friends use utorrent, any better? Thanks

Vuze (formerly known a Azureus) works very nicely and is multi-platform (Java) so the Unix bods will like it too

I am using BitTorrent and find that works fine for me. You don't even have to bother with all that Port Forwarding stuff

I don't do that port forwarding stuff with Vuze (Azureus). I thought about it and looked into it, but in the end it wasn't needed.

I'm downloading at the moment with Vuze. I am connected to peers using the following clients:

44 Azureus

6 BitComet

12 Mainline

7 Transmission

45 uTorrent

So in terms of popularity, Azureus (Vuze) and uTorrent appear to be the top 2.
