Which Products

Hi,

i'm out here in Bangkok. I was wondering which electronics products in Thailand are the best value for money as compared to back in the UK where I'm from?

I thought computer hard drives but they are actually the same price. In fact now the pound being weaker I'd say they are cheaper in the UK.

Thanks for any ideas

All I can add is that my old Canon digital camera was more expensive at a Don Muang "duty free" shop, than what I paid on the Internet.

I think the consensus is that most stuff is actually more expensive here - except software which is only cheap if it's a copy.

IMHO electronics here in Thai is not inexpensive. Compared to many places the prices are the same and in some cases quite a bit higher.

Quality electronics are not cheaper here...same cost or more expensive than USA. What is different than some places is the availability of cheap electronics...they run the entire range from "perfectly serviceable" to "absolute trash".

Caveat emptor.
