Hi all, I am a stranded business person here in BKK and I am wondering where the most economical wireless access is for laptop users. The hotel wants 600 bht a day, which at face does not seem too bad, but if this is a long-term strand it would be costly. I know German Beerhouse in Sukimvit has it, but I will wind up getting drunk instead of working, and I have to put in at least 8 hours a day online. Does mcdonald's charge too? thx for any advice!!!

mcdonalds don`t charge but you will probably only have battery life, also coffee world is free but same story, no charging of batteries allowed

I go to the Esplanade Mall on Rachadapisek. Has a Coffee World, and the wireless is still accessable in Starbucks and other areas. MRT station (Thailand Cultural Center station) is just out the front.

McDonalds usually has it (where I am posting from right now) , try starbucks or a major shopping plaza.

I second that, get a new hotel. lots of hotels give it for free and other give discounts for longer access. I know one place I stay sometimes is like 500 baht a day, but 2400 baht for a month long access
